Module 3: Digital Hospital
Target audience:
Hospital administrators, decision makers, architects and
building/facility managers.
General background:
The concept of a Digital Hospital relies on enabling technology
as an integral and fundamental part of the hospital vision and
design strategy. Our corporate belief is that new hospitals must
be designed with the future in mind, both in terms of patient
care trends and emerging clinical technologies such as
Information and Communication Technologies.
Leader Health offers to assemble an expert team of planners to
design a “one of a kind” Digital Hospital that reflects the
transformation of health care and emerging trends in patient
treatment.
General objectives:
Designing today’s hospitals to embrace “digital innovations”
will enable them to deliver high quality patient care in
increasingly efficient ways. The objective is to integrate
medical technologies such as monitoring equipment, patient beds,
nurse call systems, building systems, security, mobile pagers,
domotics, and imaging technologies to achieve productivity and
operational efficiencies.
Duration: 3-day workshop and customized hospital visits.
Deliverables: Workshop, presentation material, references and white
papers. There will be 3 on site consultants (e.g., Architect, CEO,
CIO, Facility Managers) and continued follow-on with an architect
firm.
