Denise A. Silber brings LeaderHealth a deep understanding of
eHealth, communication, and organizational strategy, based on 25
years of collaboration with healthcare organizations and
industry in Europe and the United States.
After an earlier career in pharmaceutical marketing strategy and
medical advertising, Ms Silber became a pioneer in the use of
the internet in healthcare. Denise produced the first continuing
medical education web sites In Europe, an online second-opinion
service based in the US, and research on good practices in
medical internet. She is recognized for her work in eHealth
strategy, the quality of care, physician/patient communication,
codes of good practice online, eCME ...
In 2001, Denise launched Basil Strategies, consulting services
in health and new technologies, with a unique network of
technology partners in patient coaching, e-Learning,
synchronization, web 2.0 services, search engine optimization.
Basil's clients include leading pharmaceutical companies for
whom she has developed an eHealth Club and healthcare
organizations.
Her research publications include the Case for eHealth,
written for the European Commission and Hôpital le modèle
Invisible, written for the Institut Montaigne, a French
thinktank.
A graduate of Smith College and the Harvard Business School MBA
program, Denise Silber teaches at Essec Santé and is the founder
and president of the association of healthcare MBAs, PHARMBA.
